BenPujara What do you call this genre, where tangible planets of sound are forged from electric fire and granite circuitry? Worldcarving? Sonic Vulcanism? Whatever the term, 2020 has presented some stunning examples of the form. This is one of the most stunning. Favorite track: Esencia de fístula.

Doug Dillaman Possibly the most beautiful noise I've ever heard? Alien soundscapes that have a warmth unlike 99.9% of the genre, organically sculpted and expansive while thoroughly non-idiomatic and oft-unrecognisable. Check it out! Favorite track: Consecuencias del gatuperio.

about

BISPONIBLE is the second collection of improvisations by Cecilia Lopez and Wenchi Lazo. The music takes off where ABAILABLE (their first album recorded in 2015 and 2016 and released by Pan y Rosas Discos) left. Lopez and Lazo both met and collaborated in many different groups of the underground improvisation scene of Buenos Aires, Argentina. They share an interest in non-idiomatic and timbre-based improvisation and sound making.

From stark atmospheres, data collapsing to free form looping, the duo mixes synthesizer and processed drum machine in a frenzied yet organic dialogue that sounds like futuristic and eerie underwater moonshine.

The sweeping, provocative sounds provided by the unlikely duo will propel you to a vast ocean of liquid electricity at its most abstract...never merged likewise, they make their instruments blend timbrically like few other units
